Background
The Accent Image you know (and love!) actually started as Santa Fe Sun Tanning, founded by Kanata’s Sawyer family over two decades ago.
As the golden-skinned years passed, our passion for helping you feel fabulous drove us to explore the vaster beauty industry and ultimately expand our offerings. In 2014, we rebranded under Accent Image & Laser and became the first Ottawa clinic to offer HydraFacials and the Collagen BodyWave.
Since then, we’ve grown our family of certified specialists and continually added the best new treatments and products to give you that confidence-boosting head-to-toe glow. Our ultimate mission is to be your down-to-earth, affordable and effective, one-stop medi spa and aesthetics clinic. Gary's a family man and the heart and soul of Accent, with his love of people and passion for delivering the absolute finest and warmest customer experience. As anyone who's ever chatted with him knows, Gary's a veritable fountain of health and beauty knowledge gathered over a lifetime of enthusiastic pursuit. Our clients know he'll always give them the inside story on a treatment or technology or ingredient. At 72-years young, Gary's thrilled to work every day because he so very much enjoys seeing the many familiar faces who've returned to us over and over through the years.

Sara's always had a deep love of health and beauty, even while honing her business skills in the corporate world. She used that passion and savvy to help her family launch Santa Fe Sun, and later spearhead its transformation into Accent Image & Laser. While she spent the better part of a decade in Montreal enjoying the European vibes and killer fashion, she ultimately chose Ottawa to be closer to family and build the business with them. As charmingly personable as she is artfully adept, Sara's your gal pal and aesthetic secret weapon all rolled into one. When she's not crafting perfect eyelash extensions or keeping Accent running smoothly, you'll find her working out or curled up with a good book.

Siham’s deeply rooted driving purpose is to help people feel their most beautiful and confident selves. It’s what led her to study medical aesthetics, and why she’s so beloved by each and every member of our Accent family. Nothing makes her happier than a client smiling and gushing after a stellar treatment, and witnessing their whole being transform as they experience incredible results. When her hands aren't busy transforming skin, Siham stays active with intense daily work-outs and recharges her batteries hanging out with family and friends or going on a road trip on her motorcycle.

Masooma loves seeing how her work produces such amazing results renewing and improving her clients skin. With four years of experience, she can treat clients with any skin type and any treatment type exceptionally well. When her clients are happy she could not be happier. Masooma loves cooking, painting, stitching and caring for many types of animals like sheep, chickens, ducks and dogs. Road trips is also a favorite pastime.

Carly has always had a passion for beauty starting at a very young age and now at Accent she is loving how she helps others achieve their beauty goals. She also has a strong love for health care and believes in helping those in need is very important. Carly also loves animals and works on a dairy farm on her days away from Accent.
